This will be my eleventh year working in the CISD full time, after several years working as a substitute teacher.  It will be my seventh year in the CHS Library.  I have a wonderful position as the high school Library Aide.  Our book selection is updated on a continuing basis, with new and exciting titles.  We have spent a lot of time eliminating old and outdated material.  Students are encouraged to submit book requests, or specific genres they prefer to read.  We do our best to find these books for their reading enjoyment.  Reading can open a whole new world of growth to students. It is fun to get to know a student's personal preferences, and even more fun when we are able to find something that cultivates that interest.
