For this assignment find a clear glass cup, vase or plastic cup(s), fill with water and place in front of your subject to get an interesting composition. If refracting what is in the glass, this works best with a plain background that can be achieved with a sheet, wall or blanket. If refracting the background through the water glasses try using wallpaper, wrapping paper, bricks or anything with a pattern. Be creative and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

There usually multiple cell phones in a family. Take a portrait of somebody and share it with the cell phones in your home. Have each person display a part of the photo and put them together like a puzzle. Then take another photo of the phones like in the attached example

Turn in 5 colored light portraits to this assignment by Friday 4/3. These can be portraits of anyone. Remember what we learned about 3-point lighting (Key, Back & Fill lights). Also remember light bounces off of a white piece of paper or foil covered cardboard to fill in shadow areas of your subject.

Here's some ideas:

A huge part of effective photography is seeing your photo before you take it. In order to see you have to LOOK. We are going to look at photographs that effectively utilize the compositional concepts we have learned.
