Principal's Message

Welcome to the Columbus High School Website.  Currently, CHS is on summer break.  Summer school will be offered virtually for students that need to make up credits toward graduation.  Summer school starts June 2 and I encourage students that have the opportunity to enroll in summer school to do so.  It is important for all students to maintain academic progress toward high school graduation.  The CHS administration is here to support all students so be sure to reach out if you have any questions.

During the summer I encourage students to learn new hobbies and read information that is interesting. According to Healthbeat published in Harvard Health Publishing of the Harvard Medical School  there are 6 simple steps to keep your mind sharp
1. Keep learning
2. Use all your senses
3. Believe in yourself
4. Prioritize your brain use
5. Repeat what you want to know
6. Space out your learning

As you are away for summer I challenge you to challenge your mind.  I encourage you to get plenty of sleep, maintain an active life style, eat a well balanced diet, and develop relationships that are positive.

Make the most of every moment, broaden your mind, and inspire others to excel.  Stay safe!

Cardinal Pride!
