Welcome to Columbus High School!

Principal's Message

Cardinals,

It is an honor to serve as your Principal, and I look forward to partnering with our students, families, staff, and community to help every student reach their goals.

I believe every student can grow when they are challenged, supported, and held to high expectations. Our focus will be on helping students develop the skills, confidence, and habits they need to graduate prepared for their next step in life.

As a parent who is raising two teenage daughters, I understand the importance of balancing high expectations with the experiences that make high school meaningful. These years are about discovering who students are, building relationships, trying new things, and creating memories they will carry with them long after graduation.

Together, we will create a culture where people take ownership of their growth, support one another, and continue to improve every day. We will focus on the process, learn from challenges, and recognize that success comes from the choices we make and the effort we put forward.

Our culture is built on the belief that excellence is our standard, both on the field and in the classroom.

It’s a great day to be a Cardinal!

Sincerely,
Sandra Lacks
