English II Pre AP (Period 3)

Pre AP English is designed to prepare students for the two English Advanced Placement Exams given during the junior and senior year.  This course includes intensive independent reading in all genres of world literature, development of higher level critical thinking skills, and the use of the writing process to compose various forms of discourse for a variety of audiences and purposes.

 

Students must be prepared to devote considerable hours to independent readings and outside projects.
