Columbus ISD is on a RED schedule for Wednesday, February 17th due to inclement weather and unsafe driving conditions. This means remote asynchronous instruction for all students. We understand that power outages and internet access may affect student learning. Asynchronous instruction allows for students to turn in work by the end of the week (Friday at midnight) and receive attendance credit. We understand that everyone’s situation is different and campuses will continue to work with each of you. Our teachers will plan and deliver remote learning from home. CISD will continue to monitor weather conditions for the rest of the week and will notify all students and staff of changes.

CISD is currently GREEN for the rest of the week of February 17th-19th! (However, we may switch on a daily basis because of inclement weather.)
As of this morning, the CHS campus has been deep cleaned, and our numbers have dropped considerably, making us well below the threshold of what is necessary to keep the campus closed. Taking this into consideration, Columbus ISD is changing the COVID Leveled Response at the Columbus High School campus from the color orange back to the color GREEN beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Students who attend this campus are to return to campus as regularly scheduled.
