The 2023-2024 school year will mark my 9th year teaching and 9th year with Columbus ISD. I teach agricultural sciences at the high school, serve as an FFA adviser, sponsor of the breeding heifer show team and coach of numerous LDE, CDE and public speaking events. I participated in many things while in high school: FFA, marching band, color guard, swim team and my local youth group. I then moved on to Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, where I majored in Interdisciplinary Agriculture and minored in Secondary Education, earning and receiving a Bachelors of Science in the spring of 2015. I have enjoyed the past six years here in Columbus and have learned so many things. I am excited to start the new school year and meet all of my new students!
