Studio Art 1

This course is an introduction to art. Basic composition and design, drawing, painting and various media are used. The students will be learning about the great works of art in Western civilization, participating in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Competition with a serious commitment of time and effort. The students will be learning the vocabulary of art and the theory of art analysis and evaluation.
