Course Description
Continues character development skills acquired in
Theatre I. Students will develop a clear understanding of the mechanics
of strong, effective voice and speech for the stage through relaxation,
breathing, and an understanding of the actor’s vocal life and demands.
Through learned principles and techniques of theatrical stage movement, they
will learn to use the entire body as their vocal instrument. Other areas
of study include script analysis and interpretation, play writing, theatre
history, masks & puppets, 3-D computer stage design as well as
2-dimensional and 3-D make up effects.
Participation in class activities and play attendance
required with optional semester performances.
