Intro to Culinary Arts

Course Description: 

This class is designed to introduce students to concepts not found in traditional culinary programs. The students will learn the fundamentals of professional food preparation, and also study topics such as customer relations, accounting, cost control, and marketing. Students will explore the wide variety of careers found in the foodservice industry. A fee of $35 is required to purchase a Chef’s coat for the student.
